Anybody else tired of pretending you’ve got it all together? I used to work hard at looking like the perfect Christian. It didn’t make anybody interested in Jesus. Mostly it just made me miserable to be around. So when Steve Brown said on my podcast, “If you want to turn everybody off, pretend to be good,” I had to laugh, because I’d been there. Friend, your pretend act won’t attract people to Jesus either. But watch what happens the second you let someone see into the real, human you… the one Jesus loves.
