Our Beliefs
God
There is one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth. He exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is characterized as Love.
Jesus
Jesus is God’s only Son. After living a perfect life, He died on the cross as the final sacrifice for sin. He resurrected and later ascended into Heaven. He will return as He promised.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the presence of God on the earth and inside of every believer. He is our advocate who teaches, guides, comforts, empowers and equips.
The Bible
The Bible is God’s inspired, written Word. It reveals the story of humanity’s redemption and God’s loving relationship with us. It is accurate in its original form.
Humanity
Every human is made in God’s image and created for relationship with Him. Despite being separated from God because of sin, each person can be reconciled with Him through faith in Jesus.
Salvation
Salvation makes us whole, puts us in right standing with God and ensures our eternity with Him forever. It is a gift from God that cannot be earned. It comes simply by faith in what Jesus did as God’s Son.
Baptism
Water baptism is a symbol of what happens as a result of salvation, that we are cleansed from sin and resurrected from death. It is a way for Christians to publicly acknowledge their faith.
Spiritual Gifts
The Holy Spirit gives believers spiritual gifts to spread the gospel and help others. These gifts are dispersed by God alone and always operate in harmony with the scriptures.
The Church
The Church is a diverse community of people unified by faith in Jesus. It was established by Jesus as a family to care for one another and to represent God to the world.
Eternity
Those who believe in Jesus will live forever with God. Those who reject Jesus will live separated from God. God does not desire this separation, which is why He sent Jesus.
