About Kyle
Kyle Winkler is a practical Bible teacher, author and creator of the popular Shut Up, Devil! mobile app. He is known for his vulnerable but bold messages that have been shared on platforms and media throughout the world, including TBN’s Praise the Lord, 700 Club Interactive, Life Today, Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural! and many more. His latest book, Permission to Be Imperfect: How to Strive Less, Stress Less, Sin Less is available wherever books are sold.
Kyle holds a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from Regent University. He resides in Central Florida.
Kyle’s Story
In his early years, Kyle suffered from almost debilitating shyness, leading his elementary teachers to place him in special programs. This timidity hindered his ability to make friends and participate in popular activities, leaving him feeling misunderstood and rejected.
At sixteen, Kyle came to know Jesus Christ in a deeply personal way. However, this newfound faith was seen as a threat by his close family and the denomination in which he was raised, resulting in more painful rejection, this time from those he expected to support him the most.
Despite these trials, Kyle’s faith only grew stronger. Through God’s Word and grace, he found the strength to withstand opposition and mature spiritually. Radically transformed by God, Kyle is no longer the timid person he once was. He speaks openly about his struggles, hurts, and rejections, emphasizing the importance of embracing the grace and unconditional love of God in everyday life.
