A prayer for July: “Father, thank You for a fresh month ahead. You aren’t looking at my calendar wondering what I’ll accomplish for You; You’re looking at me as Your child, already loved, already accepted, already Yours. Remind me I don’t earn a good standing with You, because I already have it. And whatever happens this month doesn’t change how You see me. Help me slow down enough to notice You’re already here, as close and as pleased as ever. I receive this month as a gift, not a test.”
