You can stop waiting to be worthy enough for God to be happy with you. That day isn’t coming. For one, because His happiness doesn’t depend on you. But also because worthiness was never on you to prove. It was always a given, given by Him. You didn’t earn it; you can’t lose it. You were made it; you are still it. So chin up, child of God. And go on living like it.
