God isn’t drawn to you because you’ve got it together. He’s drawn to you because you don’t. Every so-called flaw you’ve tried to hide, every part of you that feels too much or not enough, it doesn’t keep Him at a distance. Think about Jesus: He touched lepers, dined with tax collectors, stood by the woman caught in adultery. Raw humanity didn’t repel Him. Neither does yours. If anything, it attracts Him. Because His grace is designed to go just where it’s needed.
