You’ve probably heard it a thousand times: fix this, fight that, fast for breakthrough, earn the blessing. I believed it too. I filled every day of the week with spiritual activity, which busied me without bettering me. Because you can’t become something you already are. Jesus didn’t leave anything for you to finish. You’re not on probation or in need of proving or polishing. You are already blessed, already clean and complete in Christ.
