I love this hidden gem in Scripture. When Luke introduced Timothy, he subtly noted the scandal of his history: his mother was Jewish and his father was Greek (Acts 16v1). Jewish law condemned that kind of union. But Luke offered zero commentary on it. He just moved on to boast about how God used Timothy. And that’s the point. God uses people others never think He would. So don’t let anyone count you out because of how you entered this world or what’s happened since you got here. Labels don’t get the final word—God does.
