Ever notice how your brain will talk you out of believing a compliment or a win? A “great job” lasts for minutes before the “they don’t know the whole story.” You feel successful for a week before the bar moves. This isn’t unique to you; it’s a pattern that goes back to the beginning. But what goes back further than that—back to before the world began—is that God already loved you and already called you His (Ephesians 1:4). You can’t earn that. You can’t lose that. You can only embrace that, and let it begin to rewrite the way you think.
