Let’s start June with this prayer: “Father, as a new month begins, I embrace this truth: I’m me, and I’m OK. Not because I’ve earned it. Not because I’ve finally gotten it all together. But because You are love, and that love is where I stand. Today, I let go of the shame I’ve carried, the hiding I’ve done and the striving to feel acceptable. You made me; you know me; you love me. Period. So I begin June in that peace. Help me live from it.”
