Jesus didn’t only die for your accidents and leave your intentional sins unforgiven. He didn’t go to the cross for the version of you that had it together and reject the version that keeps falling in the same place. The author of Hebrews said it plainly: one sacrifice, good for all time (Hebrews 10v14). That means yesterday’s failure. Last week’s failure. The one you’re not ready to talk about yet. Tomorrow’s too. All of it was on His mind when He said it is finished. And He meant it.
