Spring reminds me how growth really works. I’m seeing grass come in, and it isn’t because anyone is tugging on the blades. It’s growing because it’s alive. Your growth works the same way. Patience, love, kindness and self-control—the fruit of the Spirit—aren’t produced by trying harder. As one in Christ, they grow naturally because His life is in you. This also means God isn’t measuring you by how fast you change or how consistent you feel. You’re already safe with Him. Whatever He’s shaping in you, He’s doing it in His way and in His time (Philippians 2:13).
