You are more than what you get done. I know it doesn’t always feel that way, especially when progress slows or life doesn’t look like you hoped. If you’ve been measuring yourself by results, momentum and milestones, any pause can make it seem like something’s wrong with you. But your worth didn’t begin when things were moving forward. No, Jesus proved your worth some 2000 years ago on the cross, long before any of your wins or breakthroughs (Romans 5v8). That means hard days don’t take your value away. Quiet seasons don’t diminish you. And you don’t have to keep getting “better” to deserve rest, care or kindness. It’d be healing to embrace that you’re allowed to simply be, not constantly perform.
