We often think we need to approach God like accomplished adults: polished, put-together and “good enough.” But that’s not what He asks. In fact, Jesus said the opposite. That God invites us to approach Him like children: innocent and simple in faith (Matthew 18v3). Just as a child runs to hug their parents, sweaty from play, with stained clothes and the smell of the outside, they don’t care about how they look; they simply seek the comfort of their parent’s embrace. Let’s relate to God in the same way today. Don’t wait to feel “enough” of anything. Enjoy Him just as you are.
