Sometimes the very patterns we hate seem to protect us. Fear, isolation, addiction… they can feel like shelter from pain. But they’re really prisons built on lies. God offers a better stronghold: Himself. “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble” (Psalm 9v9). You don’t have to fight harder, just run to Him. His presence is your protection; His truth your freedom.
