Right after preaching the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus didn’t go rest or retreat. He reached out and touched a man with leprosy. That one act shattered every belief about God being distant or angry. It said, “God is near. God is willing. God is good.” If you’ve ever felt too unclean, too broken or too far gone, remember this: Jesus didn’t avoid the hurting; He didn’t deny those who were different. He embraced them. And He still does.
