You’re more than forgiven; you’re fused with God! His Spirit joined with yours, and yours with His (Colossians 2v10; 1 Corinthians 6v17). That means you’re never alone, never rejected, never abandoned. You carry His divine nature (2 Peter 1v4). So when you feel the worry that God might leave you, shut it down with truth: You don’t have to try to keep Him close; He’s already in you. And He’s not going anywhere.
