Pain tries to color God’s character. Don’t let it. Jesus suffered deeply, but never blamed God. Peter said, “Arm yourselves with the same way of thinking” (1 Peter 4v1). Your circumstances may be hard, but they don’t define God’s heart. His goodness isn’t up for debate. So declare it: “What I’m facing is tough, but God is still good. And He’s getting me through.” That’s not just a thought. That’s a weapon.
