You Don’t Need to Try Harder—Just Think Better

It sounds almost too simple, doesn’t it? But what if transformation isn’t about striving harder, but about thinking better?

Here’s something both science and scripture agree on:

Lasting change doesn’t come from sheer willpower—it comes from belief. (Not just believing in something vague, but specific beliefs.)

To help you, I chose three strategic thoughts from my Think On These Things journal. These are three truths that could begin to rewire your mind—and your life—starting today.

  1. I am complete.
You’re not broken. You’re not missing something essential. In Christ, you are whole. You don’t need to hustle for worth or chase after validation. You already have what you need.
  2. God will use me.
Your past doesn’t disqualify you—it prepares you. Every scar, every setback, every story has a purpose. God doesn’t waste pain. He redeems it.
  3. God is for me.
Even when life feels off-track, even when the road is rough—He’s working for your good. You’re not alone. You’re not forgotten. You’re deeply loved and divinely supported.

Think on these things.
Let them settle in.

Because as your thoughts change, your beliefs change. And as your beliefs change, your life begins to transform.

That’s the process.
That’s the power of renewing your mind.
