What You Think Is a Defect May Be God’s Design

So many people battle things about themselves that they think are imperfections and defects given to them by the devil.

When in truth, what they really wrestle may be the differences of their custom-made identity in Christ.

You see, the Bible assures that we each were knitted together in our mother’s womb to be complex. That’s how King David described it:

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. —Psalm 139:14, NLT

Not one of us shares the same combination of personality, interests and physical features. We each are one big bundle of uniqueness.

But there’s more.

The moment we said “yes” to Jesus, we each received gifts and passions to serve how God wants to use us. That only added to our uniqueness.

My point is that the “differences” that you wrestle may not be defects at all. But they may be the design of your Creator to fit you for a plan that He had long before the world began.

Here’s a 30-second video from my Instagram that I know will encourage you in your uniqueness. ⬇️
