For years, I thought my job as a Christian was to help God fix people.
I believed that if I didn’t point out what was wrong, I wasn’t doing my part.
But all that did was push people away, especially the ones I loved most.
Then I discovered something life-changing in 2 Corinthians 5:18–19. Paul says,
“God gave us the task of reconciling people to Himself.”
I know that can sound overwhelming. Like it’s all on you to bring someone to God.
But Paul doesn’t stop there. He goes on to say:
“God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.”
Do you see? God gave you His message of reconciliation to share. And it sounds like this:
God isn’t mad. He’s not keeping score.
That truth changed everything for me.
I stopped seeing people as projects and started seeing them as people God is already at peace with.
I began listening more, judging less and simply being present.
Friend, God wants to speak through you. Not with pressure or condemnation, but with peace and love.
You don’t have to be perfect or persuasive. Just be real. Be kind. Be bold enough to say, “God’s not mad at you. He loves you.”
Someone needs to hear that. And they’re meant to hear it from you.
