What Are Your Rights As a Child of God?

With your belief in Jesus, you received “the right to become a child of God” (John 1:12).

The significance of this is often lost on modern readers, but it was a radical promise for the early church.

That’s because, in those days, “becoming a child” was a legal process of adoption that guaranteed some irrevocable rights.
