You’ve likely noticed that I talk a lot about the armor of God. But that’s for good reason.
God’s armor, as outlined in Ephesians 6:10–17, is the most effective tool for spiritual warfare. It literally ENSURES victory.
But that’s only if it’s understood properly. And sadly, most of the time it’s not.
Perhaps the most misunderstood article of the armor is “the breastplate of righteousness.”
When I ask people how to “put on the breastplate of righteousness,” most say something like this:
“It’s about not sinning. If you don’t sin, then the enemy will have nothing to accuse you of.”
That sounds good. The only problem is, perfect living is impossible. And the devil knows it.
That’s why, thankfully, God didn’t hinge victory upon your perfect behavior. In fact, He didn’t make righteousness about you at all. Watch this short clip from lesson two of the Armor of God ecourse to see what I mean. ⬇️
