There’s a kind of wholeness we all crave.
A deep satisfaction and happiness that permeate spirit, soul and body.
But I’ve found that this wholeness doesn’t come from doing more or being more.
It comes from finding peace in three simple relationships.
First, peace with God.
This is the foundation. It comes from knowing that nothing about you surprises Him. Your quirks, your passions, your struggles—He saw it all before you were born and still chose to create you. You are fully known, fully loved, and because of Jesus, you are fully accepted into God’s eternal family.
Second, peace with yourself.
When you embrace God’s love, shame loses its grip. You stop trying to fix what was never broken. You may even begin to see your “flaws” as features—parts of your design that serve a purpose. This empowers you to stop hiding and start living.
Third, peace with others.
When you’re no longer ashamed of who you are, you stop fearing rejection. And as I said in my last post about belonging, that’s when you start attracting people who celebrate you, not just tolerate you.
Friend, you don’t need to hustle for wholeness. You were made for it.
And while I know I sound like a broken record, experiencing it begins with one simple truth: You are already loved.
May that truth settle in. May it change how you see God, how you see yourself and how you show up in the world.
