How to Talk Like the Holy Spirit

Kyle WinklerBy Kyle Winkler

I used to think of the Holy Spirit as the great sin police.

I believed His primary role was to catch and correct sin.

But that’s not what the Bible says.

Consider the very first words that the Holy Spirit spoke through people at Pentecost:

“We all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!” —Acts 2:11

My friend, the Holy Spirit is not here to accuse. He is here as the Advocate to remind people about what Jesus did.

So, speak to yourself like the Holy Spirit does:

“God forgave me!”
“I am right with God!”

And speak to others like He does, too.

“God loves you” is the best place to start.

(There’s so much confusion about the Holy Spirit. I believe that’s the devil’s doing. But I’m here to help clear things up. Watch my full teaching, “5 Lies about the Holy Spirit,” or listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Google Podcasts.)
