How to Overcome Offense with No Effort

Struggling with taking things too personally?

Story of my life.

Until I learned that the gospel is more than forgiveness of sins. But it’s about the new identity I have in Jesus.

When I determined to be defined by Jesus (not someone’s judgments or my own insecurities), my tendency to be hurt by words diminished significantly.

Don’t get me wrong—it’s not that I don’t feel the sting of careless words anymore.

It’s not that I don’t flinch at the inner voice saying, “You’re too much of this or not enough of that.”

It’s that I don’t accept those words anymore. So they don’t cripple me for days or weeks anymore.

I’d like to show you how to deny offense and become (almost) unoffendable. All with no effort.
