I once believed there was so much about me that I needed to fix before I could do what I do today.
One of them was my personality.
I am an introvert.
I thought I needed to be an extrovert—to get better at things like praying aloud for people, street evangelism, or ministering to the person next to me on the airplane.
Despite my best efforts, I didn’t change much.
While I was frustrated, God opened my eyes to something the apostle Paul discovered on his faith journey. It came from a word from God.
It is the reason I stopped trying to fix myself. It is the reason you may stop trying to fix yourself, too. ⬇️
(I think you’ll especially like the illustration of the broken bowl that I show you.)

My journey to understanding God’s grace began with an encounter at the cross. I tell the story (and lead you to your own encounter) in my first book, Silence Satan.
